About the artist: He was born on July 5, 1929, in the village of Timchenko Grodizno (now Chernobaevsky district, Poltava region). Incomplete secondary education. I learned to embroider from my mother. Teachers by specialty: M. Golovko. Master of artistic embroidery. Created women's and men's shirts, towels. He had a large arsenal of embroidery techniques, researched antique patterns, and created drawings for compositions. The artist's products are perfect, have a high level of craftsmanship, in the style of artistic expression are close to the folk traditions of the Cherkasy Left Bank. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and the National Union of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine (1991). She worked in the folk embroidery artel of the village of Veremeevka, Chernobaevsky district (1951-1960), at the Cherkasy factory named after Lesya Ukrainka (since 1961): creative master of the experimental-creative laboratory (1967-1982). Participated in exhibitions: regional, national, international (since 1960). Main works: women's blouses - "New Year's", "Wildflowers" (1994), "Holiday" (1998), "Field Axes" (1999), "Steppe" (2001); men's shirts - "Chumachki" (1996), "Milky Way" (1997), "Milky Star" (2001); towels - "Jubilee" (1996), "Protection" (1999); set "Cuckoo's shoes" (2001). The works are stored in the National Museum of Decorative Ukrainian Art, Cherkasy Museum of Local Lore and Art, Kanev Museum of Folk Decorative Art (Cherkasy region). He lived and worked in Cherkasy.
