Of deep rounded form with curved sides rising from a short foot to an indented rim, covered overall with a thick black glaze suffused with fine copper-brown streaks, the glaze pooling above the foot revealing the stoneware body, the base incised with characters, the rim bound in a metal band. {Diameter: 4.9 inches (12.4 cm)}.
