Item Details

Description

Antique c1900s Streak of Lightning Quilt measuring 84X85 inches. It is comprised of 1.75 inch squares. The squares were stitched into a 13 x 13 units and then arranged 3 x 3. The color placement of the red, white, blue, and green fabrics creates a zigzag or streak of lightning or bargello style motif. It is framed with a 4 inch wide white with purple stripe fabric border with four patch cornerstones. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. There is a thin cotton batting, a blue. Chambray fabric reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by machine. It is good condition with a few small spots, mostly in the border. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
