Description
This is the John W. Luce & Co. 1913 printing (not a first) of Robert O. Ryder and Harry J. Westerman's The Young Lady Across the Way (unpaginated).
This is in very good overall condition, with little fade to the cloth cover and no notable fade to the pasted on illustrated title label. The spine is cocked but securely connected.
The most notable flaw is to the first leaf, which is detached at the gutter bottom, with a piece missing at that section (see photo), and with a surface crack running the length of that gutter. The binding is secure throughout, with no loose or missing pages. There are no stamps or other attachmnents. I believe the only writing is a name, in ink, to the top of the inside front cover. There is a small stain to the bottom border of the title page (see photo), and a few other such smudges, but almost all pages have no stains. All the art and lettering are unfaded and clean. Other than the above mentioned, there are no tears, nor are there any notable creases. The accompanying photos are of this set.
