These are five volumes (vol. II; Mistress Wilding: vol. III, Bardelys the Magnificent: vol. IV; The Snare: vol. 7, The Trampling of the Lillies: vol, 19; The Gates of Doom) from the 1924-26 Houghton Mifflin publication of the Autograph Edition of The Writings of Rafael Sabatini. (These are not signed.)
These are in good condition. The covers (app. 9" x 6.25") have some bumped outside corners and slanted spines, but the spines are securely connected and all title labels, though darkened, are legible.
Some end pages have spot stains, and there are occasional small stains to page faces. Most have none. Some leaves are uncut, and some cut pages have shallow tears to the outside edges. There are no stamps or other attachments. The only written marks are a few notations to the end pages. The bindings are tight, with no loose or missing pages. The accompanying photos are of this copy.
