This is the first US edition, published by James Pott & Co. in 1912, of Padraic Colum's recollections of his time in the Irish countryside, My Irish Year (286 pages), with 15 full page illustrations.
The cover, dark green cloth with gold and lighter green lettering and design, is structurally sound, but with a slightly cocked spine, which has shallow edge wear at its top, and with bumped outside corners.
The inside has recurrent foxing, but few other stains. The only writing is a penned name (Warren Hugh Wilson) to the top of the front end page. There are no stamps or other attachments, and no indication of any earlier attachments. There are no loose or missing pages. There are a small number shallow edge tears, but no long tears. Most pages have none. The illustrations are unfaded, and clean to the live areas.
