MEDIUM: Steel and solid glass, two-part sculpture
OVERALL SIZE: Steel piece: 15” H x 6 ½" W x 2 ½"D, Glass piece: 9 ½"H x 5" W x 2” D
DESCRIPTION: Angelica is a steel and glass sculpture by Doris Chase. Chase created the piece circa 1996. The steel piece is an open-form curve and is signed on the bottom, see photos. The glass sculpture is hand-formed with a light and dark blue swirling interior. The glass sculpture is also signed by Chase on the bottom of the piece, see photos.
PROVENANCE: The piece was purchased at the Northwest AIDS Foundation's Art Works for AIDS in May 1997. This piece was donated by the artist. A copy of the receipt is included with the sale.
