Lot of 2 different. 1) Atchison & Nebraska Railroad. Pass no. 187, issued for 1877 to L. Hasbrouck, O&LC Railway. Signed by the general superintendent. Black and red print with underprint patterned design. Very good condition. Operated in Kansas and Nebraska beginning in December, 1865. Building started mid-year 1869 and it was completed in 1871. Combined with the Atchison, Lincoln and Columbus Railroad. In February, 1908 property transferred to Burlington. 2) Kansas, Oklahoma & Gulf Railway. Pass no. 25, issued for 1924 to WR Scott, president of Southern Pacific Lines. Not endorsed by Scott. Signed by president (illegible). Formed on July 31, 1919 from the assets of the bankrupt Missouri, Oklahoma and Gulf Railway. The KO&G largely consisted of a single line from Baxter Springs, Kansas, to Denison, Texas, prior to its purchase by Missouri Pacific's Texas and Pacific Railway in 1964 and merger in 1970.Date: 1877 & 1924Country: State: KansasCity: Provenance:
