Note
The throne chairs were originally designed for Baroness Lambert, who subsequently cancelled the order. Shortly before Kagan's death, she had asked to reactivate the order. While the transaction was never consummated, the chairs served as the model for a design Kagan created for Ralph Pucci that did go into production.
Chair is in unused, partially finished condition, with upholstery never having been applied; legs are stained, with minor wear, and swivel somewhat freely, requiring final tightening; muslin is generally clean, with some minor overall soiling; muslin is roughly secured with nails and staples, and may require final finish securing prior to upholstery; sturdy and well-made.
