Overall fair to good condition; with moderate to heavy wear commensurate with age and everyday use; the veneered cases and pedestal with overall wear including scuffs, scratches, finish wear, and stains to top of cases; the cases with scattered losses to lower edges and corners, including lower edge of file drawers. The central pedestal with feet having larger losses of veneer and substrate proximate to three of the four point where the feet meet the pedestal (consistent with the feet having been torqued against the pedestal), including a 2 in. x 1 in. loss at front right foot, surmounted by a 4 in. diagonal crack in the veneer and substrate, surmounted by an 8 in. edge separation to the veneer; a 3 in. x 1 in. diagonal crack rising from the rear right foot; and a 1 5/8 in. x 1 1/2 in. triangular loss to veneer and substrate near the rear left foot. Glass with moderate wear including heavier scratches and edge wear, one uneven 1 in. x 3/8 in. chip to rear corner of glass.
