Alberto Marconetti, Italy, 1960's. Set of 14 oak, painted iron and leather strapwork dining chairs, includes 2 arm chairs and 12 without arms. Leather seats and strap backs, painted iron frames, hand signed on leather. Arm chairs have iron loops and hooks that allude to the equipage of ancient Roman equestrian order. Measures 43"H back by 11.5"W at top and 12.5"W at base; 28"W arms; seat 18"H x 16.75"D.
