Description
(1934 - 2017) Drifter whose 'family' committed the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969. A.L.S. on the verso of a partially-burned postcard, Tamal, Ca., May 8, 1986 to his friend and biographer Nuel Emmons, in part: 'If you got any pictures laying around would you send some - The straw hat & what ever you have on hand no big thing of none printed.' On the face of the postcard, Manson signs his name adding his prisoner drawing and a small colored sketch. Sold with an original color photo of Manson outdoors, playing a guitar. From the estate of Manson's friend and biographer NUEL (MELTON) EMMONS (1927-2002), co-author of 'Manson in His Own Words'.
