A two volume set of cigarette card books: 'Zeppelin-Weltfahrten I and II' (Lohse: Dresden), 1933 and 1934, both unpaginated 13.25 x 9.5 in., the volumes provide a history of the various zeppelins, their development and construction. Very detailed and well-illustrated, complete with maps, diagrams, flight plans, and containing 265 and 155 miniature cigarette card photographs respectively, each 1.5 x 2 in. b/w. Scenes include zeppelin construction, notable zeppelin engineers, people riding in zeppelins, and aerial photographs of landscapes such as the Italian Alps, Spanish, French, and German cities, and the Mediterranean Sea. Both are in very fine condition.
