Vintage Mid Century art pottery ceramic trinket box in the shape of a San Francisco trolley car, created by Rosamond Brook, late 1940s-early 1950s.

The box is 5" x 2" [12.7cm x 5.1cm]; 3" [7.6cm] tall with the lid, marked on the bottom "Rosamond Brook / PAT 145845"; turquoise green and majolica glazes; some passengers, especially on one side show glaze wear; no chips, no hairlines, very good condition. See photos.

Rosamond Brook (born about 1907) was a San Francisco, California pottery artist, active late 1940s-1950s. She is specifically known for various ceramic boxes in shape of San Francisco trolleys which she created in the late 1940s-1950s.
