Description
(1897-1984) British World War I ace, the sixth highest scoring ace with 40 confirmed victories. Rare typed war-date D.S. signed by GUY C. S. POURGIN DE DOMBASLE (1883–1929) British World War I officer, Squadron Commander in the R.F.C., 1p. 4to., Roulens, June 6, 1917, a combat report of Fullard’s victorious engagement with enemy planes (his third and fourth kills). In part: ‘…I dived on the highest…fired about 15 rounds at him then broke off as other H. A. were turning to attack me…Decisive…’. With more similar, detailed content about his ‘kills’. Signed by Dombasle in pencil at the bottom right. File holes at left, trimmed at the right margin with a tiny bit of loss, paper somewhat fragile, very good.
