Isamu kenmochi (1912-1971) Japanese modernist designer and an important player in post war industrial design in Japan. Six stacking stools of bent and stained beech with black vinyl seats, built in handles are part of the design for easy stacking and placement. Together with Isamu Noguchi, Kenmochi helped create was is called "Japanese Modern" which intergraded the modernist style to Japanese furniture. These stools were originally used by a Japanese church for its members.Dimensions: Height: 17.5 in (44.45 cm) Width: 16 in (40.64 cm) Depth: 13 in (33.02 cm) Seat Height: 16.75 in (42.55 cm)
