Description
This is a classic four-drawer library catalog file box made of richly patterned quartersawn oak by the Library Bureau company in the 1930s. Maker's brass tag on front reads "Library Bureau Sole Makers". Could be used to store so many things but was designed to hold catalog cards. The inside contains sliding card supports that would fit standard 3" by 5" index cards nicely.

Condition
Good condition, original hardware. There is a moisture ring on top surface (see photos) and some drying / aging visible along edges, prime for restoration. Sturdy dovetail construction.
