Description
650-cc parallel twin four-stroke - Frame Number: 75638 - Engine Number: TR675638 The Triumph TR6 Trophy earned its name as acompetitive off-road motorcycle. Riders like Bill Postel, Bud Ekins, and John Giles made this a popular choice for riders by winning the 1956 Big Bear Run (Open Class), the 1956 International Six Days Trials (750-cc class), and the 1956 CatalinaGrand Prix (Open Class). In 1963 the Triumph TR6 made its big screen debut as Steve McQueen’s ride of choice in The Great Escape and it has been a collectible motorcycle ever since. This TR6 Trophy sports custom paint, fork covers, and a full seat to make it more of highway rider than an off-road motorcycle but would be an easy swap back to the classic look. These early TR6 Trophy’s were not produced in high numbers andhave become very desirable. Sold with clear title. *Please note that this motorcycle has been in storage for the past few years and will require recommissioning prior to use.**Reduced online buyer's premium of 15%*
