Item Details

Description

Large, colorful, wooden teaching aid demonstrating the components of a ballistic missile or rocket. Although utilitarian, this item takes on the quality of abstract, mid-century modern, art sculpture. The item disassembles into 4 components plus the additional base. Institutional name is stenciled on base. Original paint using 10 different colors. Height is approximately 22” with the outer dimensions of the base being 6” X 6”. Condition: dings, nicks, light soiling, scrapes, chips, cracks in wood from age shrinkage.
