Description
Outstanding original 1966 Indianapolis International Champion Race Jun Japan racing uniform / suit. Consignor claims to have purchased this uniform from the estate of long time Foyt Racing team member Cecil Taylor. "These 1966 Indianapolis International Japan racing uniforms were gifted to each of the American drivers by promoter Akira Jin. The race was a mystery to most Japanese with no one from Japan driving or sponsoring cars in the race. This particular uniform appears to be in overall nice original condition with some discoloration / staining, and wear from use and age. Displasy well with flocked lettering. Jacket measuresapproximately 30" tall from the collar to the bottom, 23" from shoulder to bottom of sleeve, 20" shoulder to shoulder , 22" pit to pit. Pants measure overall approximately 44" long. Waist measures approximately 16" across.
