French Provincial-Style Polychromed Cabinet

the molded cornice above a case fitted with a single paneled door over two paneled doors, with a single drawer below, all with polychromed banding, raised on scrolled toes.

**Case and base are tight with no movement in the legs or joints observed. The surface exhibits some minor shrinkage, rubbing to the polychromy (most by design) and scattered minor mars and wear. Doors open freely. Locks present; no key. The upper section interior has three shelves and battens to support two of them. There are holes drilled in the lower back of the upper section and a smaller hole in the base of the upper section.
Date of manufacture in the post-WWII period, probably late 20th century.
