Cream to light tan pages. Vol. 2: VG+ (4.5). Touch of spine stress, reading creases to spine area, corner creases, residue to back cover (from sun-melted rubber band?), one page has corner chip. Cream pages.
Digest-sized squarebound Indonesian comics, color covers and black & white interiors, Indonesian text. Cover art by Kus Bram. 5x7". No copies of either volume listed in the CGC Census. Scarce.
Batman and Spider-Man grace the identical covers of these wacky mags, but Spidey's just a bait-n'-switch tactic and doesn't appear within these pages at all. Instead, the X-Men's Angel tussles with redrawn versions of Wally Wood's Ani-Men from the pages of Daredevil #10. Bruce Wayne appears in vol. 1 as an idle playboy, but doesn't mask-up as Batman 'til vol. 2. It's fun to read the Indonesian interjections used for yelps of pain ("Hek!," "M-AGH!," "Kragh!") while contemplating the ease with which Yankee superheroes crossed international boundaries (and legal niceties) to become part of the warp and woof of Southeast Asian popular culture.
