PAIR OF FINE VICTORIAN R&S GARRARD & CO. GILT TAZZAS
English (London), mid to late 19th century, gilt silver. Elaborate, openwork surfaces in scalloped shell pattern, the centers incised with Goldsmid family crests - "Quis similis tui in fortibus, Domine; concordia et sedulitate" - and presented on turned standards ending on openwork bases with feline masks. Hallmarked around the foot, including lion passant, leopard, and duty mask stamps.
