Unusual Tall French Empire Style Carved Walnut Sideboard, 19th c., the rounded edge top over a long frieze drawer over set back double cupboard doors flanked by scrolled pilasters, on a plinth base, on rounded block feet, H.- 59 in., W.- 60 in., D.- 27 in.

There are shrinkage cracks along both sides and on the top. There is an old wood patch on the proper right side of the top. The centers of the doors have an old repair made with small wood roundels. Some surface scratches and dings are present throughout. Evidence of old wood worm damage is present. Wear is consistent with age and normal use.
