GENUINE ANTIQUE 'ROYAL VIENNA' BIEDERMEIER PORCELAIN CORBEILLE, ca. 1820s
Antique, early 19th century, 1820s, Late Georgian era, hand-painted reticulated corbeille, centerpiece basket bowl or compote on pedestal base, with scattered flowers motif, by the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in Vienna, Austria. Iron bolt construction to hold pieces together is original. Signed with underglazed blue "Bindenschild" mark, a shield insignia resembling an upsidown beehive. Monogrammed with "P.K." in painted gold script.
