Trophy features a gilt sculpture of a man in a cape holding a laurel wreath and a scroll and standing above a gilt plaque flanked by gilt eagle sculptures; plaque reads: "SPORT MAGAZINE FIFTEENTH ANNIVERSARY AWARD Presented To EDDIE ARCARO 1946-1961 HORSE RACING TOP PERFORMER OF THE FIFTEEN YEARS". Plaque award is decorated with two gilt eagles on gilt wreathed platforms flanking the gilt plaque proper which reads: "Sport Magazine Award EDDIE ARCARO Top Performer In Horse Racing 1952".
