Description

A letter to J.E. Crane from Franklin D. Roosevelt dated October 18th 1928 and signed in ink by FDR President of the Boy Scout Foundation of Greater New York. The letter relates to the development of the Ten Mile River Scout Camp near Narrowsburg, NY. FDR was instrumental in the development of a Boy Scout Camp large enough to accommodate up to 3500 scouts at a time. The letter is signed in ink and on Roosevelt & O'Connor Counselors at Law letterhead.
