American Southern stoneware four gallon crock, 19th century, having wave texturing to the upper portion and handles. Note: Acquired from Price Coursey, Greenwood SC.

Provenance: From the Private Collection of Elizabeth Cross, Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Approx. includes handles h. 12.5", w. 11.5".

Condition

Overall wear commensurate with age and use, 0.75" chip to rim, firing and glaze imperfections, rough lower edge with some chips, no apparent cracks.
