After Jacques Barraband (French 1768-1809), in collaboration with Louis Bouquet (French 1765-1814), published by Francois Levaillant (French 1753-1824), from "Histoire Naturelle des Perroquets", four hand colored stipple engravings, comprising plate 97 "Le Perroquet Lori Aqueue Bleu", plate 98 "Le Perroquet a Epaulettes", plate 104 "Le Perroquet Brun", and plate 123 "Le Perroquet Lori, A Scapulaire Bleu, male", 1801-1805, each signed in plate, and framed.

Provenance: Judy Cormier, New York, NY.

Sight approx. h. 13.75", w. 10.15"; Overall h. 24", w. 21.5", d. 1.5".

Condition

Not examined out of frames, toning, foxing, plate 123 with approximate 0.75" tear near lower center, descriptive tags to the back to not match plates.
