Description
Two (2) English Derby polychrome and parcel gilt porcelain figures depicting the 18th century actor, James Quinn, in his celebrated role as Falstaff in William Shakespeare's Henry IV, wearing a lavishly decorated floral coat, brandishing a shield and sword, and supported by a stump with floral forms upon a rocaille base. Both with makers mark to underside. 16 1/2" H x 9 3/8" W x 8 1/2" D. Early 19th century.

Condition
One figure with previous repair to scabbard having corresponding glue residue. One figure with repaired break to sword, loss to portion of pommel, and minute losses to floral forms. One with firing flaw to base.
