Description
Pair of two (2) large Italian Majolica tin-glazed earthenware trumpet form vases decorated by the Mollica Family. The bodies depict idyllic pastoral landscape scenes and have applied vine and floral decoration; both have long necks ending in crimped or fluted rims with pink glazed interiors. Both signed "Fea Mollica" to necks. 24 1/2" H. Mid-19th century. Note: Giovanni Mollica established his Neopolitan ceramics factory in the second half of the 19th century, many times decorating the pieces himself. He was joined by his sons who helped to make the Mollica factory one of the most important in Italy.

Condition
Both are overall good condition with some craquelure, professional restorations to the top ruffled edge, necks and applied flowers. Please refer to blacklight photos.
