Qing dynasty, comprising eight wood frames, each containing five porcelain enamel decorated plaques with various scenes telling a story, wire hangers at tops, each overall 29-1/4 x 6 in.

Provenance: Purchased in Beijing, 1976; Property of a lawyer who worked and resided in China

Condition
some surface dirt and accretion, scattered scratches and pinholes to porcelain, scattered losses to enamel decoration, frames with scattered bumps and abrasions, some rust to wire hangers
