Tudric pewter and enamel mantel clock, designed by Archibald Knox, model no. 0609, of rectangular form, cast in low relief with panels of Art Nouveau foliage to the edge, the circular dial with Arabic numerals enamelled with stylised honesty seedheads, in shades of green, blue and red, stamped 'Z Rd 468016 0609 English Pewter Made by Liberty & Co.', 20.5cm high Provenance: Miss Rewa B Lloyd, born in 1889, received the clock as a 21st birthday present. After passing down through the family, it was gifted to the current vendor. Condition Report: With a key. Rubbing and wear to the case. Dial loose in the mount. Chip to the glass cover between 12 and 1. The dial has chip to enamel at 6. Crack to the enamel between 12 and 1. French movement - replacement? N23/6 scratched into the base of the clock case. Two further scratches to the top and base of the case on the front.
