This lot includes an 1858 $1 bearer note from Terre Haute, IN with great graphics of a train, steamship and Zachary Taylor; 1857 $1 note from the Bank of the State of Indiana in Terre Haute, IN, note has repairs on reverse and repaired withother torn bills; Civil War era receipt from Terre Haute Business; 1858 $5 broken bank note from Terre Haute, IN; 1843 $5 Indiana Canal bearer note sold from the Peru Indiana Canal Office; $5 bearer bond from the Terre Haute Alton & St. Louis Railroad dated January 20th, 1859; and a scarce $3 bill from the Bank of Vincennes/Vevay Branch circa 1819.
