A VICTORIAN SILVER TEAPOT AND SUGAR BOWL London c.1842, makers mark of Benjamin Smith III, each of compressed melon form, with cast foliate and scallop rim, and lobed body, the teapot finial in the form of a lion holding an axe, each with applied c-scroll handles, raised on shaped circular spreading foot (c.43 troy ozs). Teapot 26.5cm wide over handle and spout, 16.5cm high
