Description
Collection of three Japanese chargers, ca. 18th - early 20th century (possibly Edo through Meiji / Taisho). One Imari (Arita) ware charger with scalloped edge and decoration of a dragon, a tree, birds, and two kimonos hanging. Signed on bottom in red overglaze enamel. One Imari charger with scalloped edge showing many flowersand trees. Signed on bottom in blue and red overglaze enamel. Beautiful flecks of gold on obverse. One Igezara charger showing Mount Fuji, birds and trees. Unmarked. The two Imari chargers have hand painted details, while the Igezara is transfer decorated.
