Printed by Scribner, Armstrong, and Company of New York. Includes 317 illustrations and 6 maps. 579 pages, gilt edges. Binding features an elephant head and peacock feathers tooled in gold on a green hardcover. Cover marked "A. Souze a Paris". Condition: good, with wear at binding corners and edges.
