Description
A 1887 Liberty Head $5 Half Eagle gold coin designed by Christian Gobrecht and known as the Coronet head, depicting a capped portrait of Liberty facing to the left on the obverse. The reverse shows an eagle with In God We Trust lettering placed above it and United States Of America around, with the value Five D. It was produced for circulation from 1795 to 1929 and in commemorative and bullion coins from 1983. Antique American Gold Coins And Numismatic Collectibles.
