Frederic Victor Guinzburg New York (1897 - 1978) Bobby Infant Bust marble signed and titled near base Guinzburg is listed in the Benezit, and is said to have studied in Rome, Italy, and was a fellow of the National Sculpture Society in New York. He was represented by gallerists in Paris and London, and his works can be found in the collections of the San Francisco Museum and The Fine Arts Museum in Chicago. Notable lots sold at auction, as noted in the Benezit, include Peacock (enamelled bronze fountain, 26" tall), sold in New York on May 30, 1986, for $7,000, and Little Girl Riding a Peacock (gilded bronze, 26" tall), sold in New York on November 14, 1980, for $5,000. Also, on Jun 16, 2008, a large allegorical group bronze depicting eagle, satyr and maiden, were sold by Rose Hill Auction Gallery in Englewood, NJ, for $12,500. 12"
