This is a vintage Gruen Verithin open face pocket watch dating to the early 20th century. The crisp dial has a single sunk second hand. The 15 jewel movement is adjusted 5 positions and is numbered 465851.
It is 2 3/8" long including the crown and bow. The case diameter is 1 7/8".

In overall very good cosmetic condition consistent with age and use. THe watch winds, runs, and keeps good time. As with all mechanical timepieces, this watch will require regular cleaning to maintain running condition.
