Item Details

Description

Ca. mid to third quarter 19thC. Condition is fair-needs restorations throughout, plus refinishing after repairs are completed. The pictures clearly show the condition issues needing attention; they also show how old this one is, and should provide an idea of the overall good quality of the original chest, quite usable as it sits.

Condition

In good condition for age. The top has chips in the inlay, a glued side edge, and the opposite edge is loose. Note minor cosmetic issues such as scratches and dents. Crack front left foot. Wood bead edges missing on most drawers, and the top drawer has a split to the top left.
