Description
Western Europe, likely Germany, Post Medieval Period, 15th to 17th century CE. A forest green mold formed glass bowl-cup known as a maigelein used for drinking wine, with a ribbed wrythen molding (ribbing) across the exterior. The interior base is pushed deeply inward, forming a conical push or kick-up base, the indentation due to the rod used when shaping the vessel. Size: 3.125" Diameter x 1.75" H (7.9 cm x 4.4 cm)
