Boxed Lionel prewar standard gauge 1928 342E light green electric passenger set. Set consists of a 318E center cab electric locomotive that has crumbling original wheels from fatigue (the wheels will not turn and it is believed to be because of the fatigued wheels), 310 baggage car with dark green doors, 309 Pullman and 312 observation cars, C6-7. The set box is actually dated 28 (1928) inside and according to records, this train was first available in 1929 but WITHOUT a set box. The corners are all split and there are inner tape repairs that did not hold. The inner boxes are fantastic as they were only opened from one end, they are all in excellent plus condition as seen in the photos.
