Portuguese 18kt yellow gold dog form brooch decorated throughout with brown enamel work, silvered-gold droopy ears inlaid with rose cut diamonds, and bezel set colored gem accents to the collar, eyes and nose. With an elongated polished gold tail. Stamped to the underside with a Portuguese gold hallmark of a dog's head facing right signifying a year of 1938-1984 and an assay office of Portio; alongside several unidentified marks including a maker's mark.
