Footnotes:
The design for this armchair is after a set of twenty-one chairs designed in 1905 for the Board Room of Country Life magazine headquarters in Tavistock Street by Sir Edwin Lutyens. The design of the back references the 18th century cabinet-maker George Hepplewhite.
These chairs were most likely used in Sir Terence's Lutyens restaurant on Fleet Street, named after Sir Edwin as a nod to his design of the building in the 1930's.
