A-028 Third-Reich Adolf Hitler "Birthday Book", recording the comments and signatures of over 700 well wishers for the years 1933 through 1938. Black grained leather covers with a gilt border and edged pages. 10 1/4" x 8". "20 April" precedes each of the stated year page. While the 1933 section has a volume of signatures, including N.S.D.A.P. members, business and political figures, the following years seem concentrated on diplomatic and foreign government dignitaries. Ambassadors, charge d'affairs, consuls and attaches seem to dominate the categories of signatures. A special lengthy accolade was paid to "the greatest German leader" by A. Swetosarov, the founder of the R.O.N.D. (Russian Nationalist Organization). This historic book which was maintained by the German Foreign Office, deserves to be properly researched.
