6 Japanese 19th / early 20th Century Porcelain Plates or Bowls: a Satsuma painted porcelain plate with a fine design of Ladies on a terrace feeding koy fish with a Satsuma border in gold & raised gold, mark to back; a leaf-shaped plate enameled with a bird on flowering branches all on a brown enamel ground with mark to back, a pair of Arita bowls with a design of Iris, Butterfly, Fan & Qin, mark to bases, an Arita teabowl with tomato red glaze and fan designs and a later Arita bowl. Diameter of Satsuma plate 8 1/2 inches (21.5 cm.).
