Chinese Qing Dynasty Dark Green Jade Double Gourd Plaque well carved and polished with "Da Ji" characters and a border of auspicious objects; now mounted on black lacquer ground and in a hard wood frame carved in high relief with cloud borders and 2 Confronting Dragons either side of a Flaming Pearl across the top, the reverse to lacquer painted with red Bats in Clouds; heavily incised bronze center hanger at top. Height 24 1/2 inches (62 cm.) X width 16 1/8 inches (41 cm.).

Light age related wear to lacquer on ground and at edges; small chip to hard wood carving.
