Description
Grouping of four figural bronzes. Paul Ludwig Kowalczewski (German, 1865-1901). Classical male bust on marble bust. Signed "P.L. KOWALCZEWSKI" on back of bust. Bronze of Classical boy. Signed illegibly on back of bronze base. A boy riding a donkey bronze, no apparent signature or marks. Bronze of young peasant boy after Paul Dubois (French, 1829-1905). "P. Dubois" signed on base. Wear to patina of all bronzes. Bottom of base of Dubois bronze is slightly dented on front. Small scratches to bronze of Classical bust and boy riding donkey, with its left hoof missing.
Tallest bronze measures 16 1/2" H x 5 1/4" diameter of base.
