Description
This post-concert second printing poster is signed by the artist, Frank Bettencourt! This lot also includes a COA produced by the artist.
Because of their high status in the history of Rock and Roll Led Zeppelin Posters demand some of the highest values of all. The band gained momentum so quickly that after their first two tours so they required very little promotional activity. Zeppelin's name is misspelled on this piece. The show was promoted by Jim Salzer.
This reprint poster was produced by Salzer after the show and was sold in his record store, as well as in Goldmine Magazine ads.
In 2020, Jim Salzer passed away at age 78, suddenly and unexpectedly from complications involving a previous neck injury. His lasting legacy is well known in the industry. First as a guitarist and singer, then as a rock show promoter who booked big names like the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. He briefly managed the Doors during the early years, and he frequently brought in major bands of the era to Ventura and Santa Barbara. Salzer's owned & operated record shop has been a legendary fixture for decades - and still stands today.
